Panchang ("five limbs") for the chosen place, computed here from the Sun and Moon (Lahiri ayanamsa, sidereal for nakshatr, yog and rashi). Each limb is taken at local sunrise and shown with the time it changes. Rahu kaal, Yamagand and Gulik kaal are fixed eighths of the daytime by weekday; Abhijit is the 8th of 15 daytime muhurt; Brahm muhurt is the 2nd-last of 15 night muhurt before sunrise. Months are amant (new moon to new moon), as in most of South and West India; in the purnimant reckoning of the North, the Krishn paksh carries the next month's name. Tara (from your birth nakshatr) and Chandrabal (Moon from your Moon sign) are personal checks used when picking a good day. Times are local to the place, including daylight saving. Festival dates can differ by a day between traditions and calendars.

Reading a card: the coloured strip on top and the small label above the name show the yog’s type (gold Raj, green Dhan, purple Viparit, blue Neech Bhang, orange Panch Mahapurush, silver Lunar — the same dots as the Type buttons). The bars at the top right show its strength, always on one scale: red very weak → orange weak → yellow moderate → light green strong → green very strong. A glowing outline means the yog is active at the playhead; a saffron glow means a ★ prime window. Houses are whole-sign from the Lagan, as in the Kundali. Planets are "combined" when they are conjunct (same sign), in each other's signs (parivartana) or in mutual sign-aspect (7th for all; Mars 4th/8th, Jupiter 5th/9th, Saturn 3rd/10th). Strength averages each planet's condition — exalted +2, own sign +1.5, vargottam +0.5, in a kendr/trikon +1, Shadbal ratio ≥ 1.3 +1; debilitated −2, combust −1.5, in 6/8/12 −1.5, Shadbal below minimum −1 — plus yog-level factors such as an exchange (+0.5) or a partner that also rules a dusthan (−0.5). A yog gives results mainly in the dashas of its planets, strongest when one planet's Mahadasha runs with the other's Antardasha; click any period to zoom the timeline to it. Transit triggers watch the signs holding the yog planets and the signs of the houses the yog is built on. Jupiter influences a sign by transiting it or by its 5th/7th/9th aspect; Saturn by transiting it or by its 3rd/7th/10th aspect (retrograde back-and-forth within 45 days is joined into one stretch). A double transit is when Jupiter and Saturn influence the same watched sign at once — the classical signal that an event can manifest. A ★ prime window is a double transit that falls inside the yog's own dasha (peak MD–AD first, otherwise its Mahadasha): the best timing for the yog to show results. Dasha periods marked ★ contain at least one double transit. Treat these as indications to weigh with the whole chart, not guarantees.
    Life-event back-test
What is listed. For each event, the timing factors that favoured its life area on that date (the area comes from the category, or pick one under “KP area”): Dasha lords — MD, AD and PD lords whose KP significations support the area, lords connected to each other, and the area's karak running the dasha; Jupiter & Saturn transits — occupying or aspecting the area's good houses from the Lagan or Moon, double transit, and Jupiter or Saturn on a running dasha lord; Yog periods — yog in their peak or ★ prime window; Natal promise (KP) — the main cusp's sub lord promising the area. Factors that did not favour the event are left out. “Find similar periods” shows everything active at the event and searches your life for periods like it.

    Dosh & Arisht
Checked: Mangal (from Lagan, Moon and Venus, with the classical exceptions), Kaal Sarp (full and partial), Guru Chandal, Grahan (Sun, Moon), Angarak, Shrapit, Vish, Pitru, Kemadrum (with its cancellations), Pap Kartari on the Lagan and Moon, Gandant Moon/Lagan, and Kendradhipati. Whole-sign houses; sign-based aspects. A dosh shown as cancelled still deserves a glance, but classical texts consider its effect largely removed. Kaal Sarp and several of these are later (non-Parashari) additions — the cards say so where it matters. The dasha and transit rows work like the Raj Yog cards.
    Morning chants
    For
How the list is chosen: Ganesh always opens. Then the four strongest reasons for the chosen date: the beej mantra of your running Mahadasha and Antardasha lords; Hanuman Chalisa and the Shani mantra during Sade Sati, Kantak or Ashtam Shani; the Rahu or Ketu beej mantra while that grah transits your Moon sign or Lagan (with Om Namah Shivay for Rahu, Mahamrityunjay for Ketu, over the Moon); the traditional remedy for each dosh that is present and not cancelled (Mangal dosh → Hanuman Chalisa, Kaal Sarp, Pitru and Grahan → Mahamrityunjay, Guru Chandal → Guru mantra and Vishnu Sahasranam, Vish and Kemadrum → Om Namah Shivay); the stotra for a weak grah (neech without cancellation, ast, Shadbal below minimum, or a Lagan lord in 6/8/12 — Surya → Aditya Hridayam, Chandar → Om Namah Shivay, Mangal and Shani → Hanuman Chalisa, Budh and Guru → Vishnu Sahasranam, others → their beej mantra); and the beej mantra of the planet carrying your strongest Raj yog. Gayatri fills the list if fewer reasons apply. Choose Today for your list now, or Timeline playhead to see the list for any date you move to — dasha and transit chants change with time; dosh, weak-grah and yog chants come from the birth chart and stay. "Play all" opens the chants as one YouTube queue, no login needed. Share (or WhatsApp) sends the list of chants with that same link, so an astrologer can hand a client their playlist at the end of a reading; on the timeline-playhead setting the message carries the chosen date. These are traditional upay offered in the spirit of practice, not promises of results; if you follow a guru or family tradition, let that guide you first.

◆ vargottam — same sign in D1 and D9 (shown on D9 only) · = same sign as in D1 (other divisional charts; a mild extra strength for that chart's area — common in D3, where the first 10° of every sign maps to itself) · ↑/↓ exalted / debilitated in that chart · R retrograde. Drag a chart by its title bar to move it; the arrangement is remembered. With a title bar focused, ← → move the chart one place. Parashari rules for every division; D1 is included for comparison.

House strength (BPHS, as set out by B.V. Raman), in virupas (60 = 1 rupa). Bhavadhipati = the Shadbal total of the house lord (uses the Shadbal preset chosen above). Dig = from the sign type of the bhav madhya — human signs are strongest in the 1st, water signs in the 4th, Scorpio in the 7th, quadruped signs in the 10th — 60 at that house and 10 less per house away. Drishti = aspects on the bhav madhya: benefics add and malefics subtract a quarter of their aspect value, while Jupiter's and Mercury's aspects count in full. Bhav madhya by Sripati (Lagan, MC and their opposites, with the houses between trisected). Some programs add extra components (for example occupation by benefics or day/night strength), so totals can differ; the ranking is the useful part.

Bindus (benefic points) by BPHS rules, counted from each of the seven planets and the Lagan. SAV (Sarvashtakavarga) adds the seven Bhinnashtakavargas; the total is always 337. Rough guide: a sign with 28+ SAV bindus is strong and under 25 is weak; in a planet's own BAV, 4+ bindus favour its transit there and 0–2 make it difficult. No Trikon or Ekadhipatya reduction is applied.
